Frozen Mouse Supplies

Many reptiles rely upon rodents as a staple diet in the wild and in captivity the most common food provided by reptile keepers is the Frozen mouse. A Frozen mouse is usually competitively priced, readily available and a convenient food source for reptile keepers

Frozen mouseWhen preparing your frozen foods for feeding to your reptile you should always defrost your Frozen mouse or other frozen rodents slowly. Once your Frozen mouse has defrosted store it in a refrigerator. If you only feed one Frozen mouse to your reptile per feeding, only defrost one at a time. Once defrosted they should only be kept refrigerated for a couple of day. Never defrost your Frozen mouse using hot water or a microwave.

The use of long tweezers is recommended when feeding a Frozen mouse or any other frozen rodent to a snake. This will not only avoid the reptile keeper being bitten but also keep human scent off the Frozen mouse. A Frozen mouse or any other frozen rodent fed to a snake should not be wider in girth than the snake to which it is being fed.

Your Frozen mouse is available in six sizes:

  • Frozen mouse pinkies (1-2g)
  • Frozen mouse fuzzies (4-6g)
  • Frozen mouse small (10-15g)
