oC/oF Function Press the oC/oF button (on the back of the instrument) and then release to switch from oC to Of or oF to OC MAX/MIN MEMORY FUNCTION Press the MAX/MIN button to display the maximum reading (MAX symbol displayed). Press the MAX/MIN button again to display the minimum reading (MINI symbol displayed) Press MAX/MIN button again to return to normal reading. Hold MAX/MINI for three seconds to reset minimum and maximum temperature memory. TEMPERATURE ALARM SETTING FOR REMOTE PROBE (IN AQUARIUM) To operate the audible alarm, press and hold the alarm set button to adjust the high or low alarm reading, the alarm setting will then flash in the display. To set the high alarm, press and hold the oC/oF function button at the rear of the unit. to set the low alarm press the alarm set button and press and hold the oC/oF function button at the rear of the unit. The audible alarm will sound intermittently when the temperature setting has been exceeded and will cease ince the temperatures have returned to within the boundaries set. WARRANT This instrument carries a one years warranty and guarantee against defects in either components or warkmanship. During this period , products that prove to be defective will, at the discretion of ETI ltd, be either replaced or repaired without a charge. This warranty does not apply to probes, where a six month period is offered. The product warranty and guarantee does not cover damage caused by fair wear and tear, abnormal storage conditions, incorrect use, accidental misuse, abuse,neglect, misapplication or modification, or use with non ETI hardware/software. No warranty for fitness for a particular purpose os offered and the user assumes the entire risk of using the product. Any Liabilty by ETI Ltd is limited only to the replacement of decfective materials or workmanship, and ETI accepts no responsibility for consequential loss.
