Our dried mealworms are a high-protein treat for wild birds, made using a freeze-drying process that locks in nutrition without the need for live insects. They’re ideal if you want the benefits of mealworms without handling live worms.
These freeze dried mealworms can be fed all year round. Use them as an occasional treat or mix them with other bird food to add extra protein, especially during breeding, moulting, and colder months.
Packed in a 500ml tub, dried mealworms are easy to store, simple to use, and suitable for a wide range of garden birds. For best results, soak them briefly in water before feeding to help rehydrate and improve digestibility.
